Our trips and travel experiences are numerous and include a variety of interests. Come by yourself, with a friend, or get a group together. Whether you have ventured out with us before or not, you are going to have fun and probably learn something new when you join a group of people who are looking for adventure.

Skagit Valley Casino Resort or Shopping at the Pacific Edge Outlet Mall

If you haven’t seen Circque du Soleil, here is your chance! The show brings together the passion of the actor with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.
La Conner in May

Hopefully the sun will be with us as we spend the day strolling through the historic waterfront village of La Conner, Washington. This village is known for the friendly people, diverse communities, cultural attractions including three museums & outdoor sculpture exhibits, locally owned boutiques & galleries, amazing restauraunts and an environment of mountains, farms, rivers, islands and the North Puget Sound.
Chuckanut Drive Spring Fling
Thursday, May 29th Depart/9:00, Return/5:00 p.m.

Spring is here so let’s go enjoy the Northwest beauty together on this leisurely meandering down Chuckanut Drive to Bellingham. We’ll stop to stroll through the historic Fairhaven district in Bellingham, have lunch and then go to Teddy Bear Cove for dessert. Teddy Bear Cove is made stunningly beautiful with bright white sand (centuries of crushed clamshells), Madrona trees and crystal tide pools. An easy, flat mile-long hike leads to the cove, paying off with magnificent shoreline views of Chuckanut Bay and Clark's Point
San Juan Islands to Victoria, B.C.

This end-of- spring trip is a great time to gather friends and board a ship in Bellingham. This fully guided tour of the San Juan Islands offers opportunity for sighting Orca whales, bald eagles, seals, porpoise and other wildlife as we cruise through the Islands toward Victoria. A 5-hour shore visit allows for optional Butchart Garden Tour, Victoria City Tour and/or Empress Afternoon Tea or sallying forth on your own. On board, you will enjoy a complimentary all-you-can-eat dinner.
Washington Park Arboretum and Japanese Gardens
Friday, June 13. Depart/9:00 a.m., return/6:00 p.m. Cost: $29.00 for tour-goers (includes bus, ferry, guided tour). Cost: for those walking with Helen is $25.00. lunch on your own. Sign up with payment by May 30th
This trip has two options.
Option #1: a gentle guided tour that highlights the best of the Arboretum seeing spring moving toward summer in the gardens… flowering Cherries, Azaleas and Dogwoods, large-leaved Rhododendron trees sheltered by Magnolias.
Option #2 : a longer walk/hike through the Arboretum and Foster Island with Helen Shields.
Following the tour we will go to Café Flora nearby for lunch and then on to the Japanese Gardens.
Tillicum Village Experience: Cruise and Salmon Dinner
Tuesday, June 17, depart/8:30 a.m., return/6:00 p.m.

The 4-hour adventure to Tillicum Village at Blake Island State Park begins at Pier 55 on Seattle's Central Waterfront. Relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery during the 50 minute cruise. Dinner is an experience. Inside the longhouse, watch as whole Chinook salmon are cooked over an alder-wood fire on cedar stakes in the traditional Northwest Coast Indian style. As you finish your meal, the lights dim while the myth and magic come to life in the spellbinding performance featuring the Tillicum Village dancers. After the show, you’ll have about an hour to watch carving demonstrations in the longhouse, visit the gallery featuring artwork of local artisans or stroll along the pristine beaches and many forested trails.

Come carpool with us from the Senior Center out to the Keystone Ferry. We’ll
Collect there as “walk-ons”, walking into town upon our arrival in Pt. Townsend.
The lot of us will proceed to the Belmont Hotel for a terrific lunch by the water.
There will be a brief opportunity after lunch to window-shop, after which we’ll catch the 2:15 ferry and be back to the Center by 4:00…maybe a little earlier.
An easy day, good food, a day across the water - - - and very inexpensive!
