The nuts and bolts of volunteering

Volunteers receive mileage reimbursement and the satisfaction of sharing time with someone who needs a little help to remain independent.

There are many reasons to provide volunteer chore services as there are people who volunteer.

Some people say their reward is how good the feel when they see an older person’s face light up when they arrive. Others feel it’s important to give back to the community. Volunteers learn a lot about themselves, enjoy learning new skills, and making a difference in another person’s life.
